I tried getting the page done today, I really really did.
Shaun had his final post-treatment CT scan last week, and yesterday was the appointment to hear the prognosis of how it all turned out, whether he'd need to go back in for more rounds of even more intense chemo. Needless to say, in spite of my best efforts, I spent the entire weekend freaking out and didn't get much done.
But I'm BEYOND HAPPY to say that he is officially cancer-free!!
All that's left is a little sliver of scar tissue from the inoperable tumor.
Well, that was about noon yesterday. In celebration, we went straight off to a gigantic toy emporium/museum an hour away, and spent the afternoon and evening mostly just basking in the fact that we can finally plan the rest of our summer now, let alone the rest of our year. Maybe even plan the next 10 years if we're lucky.
Thanks for your patience, everyone. Now that we have our lives back, I can work up to doing 2 pages a week again! And finish Spotlight Hound in a timely manner! And do all the other things I said I was going to do!
(And because this comic software doesn't let me post anything without an image, I got you this old doodle.)
