Day late and a dollar short!
I actually got sidetracked by scripting yesterday, and after a night of awful sleep I crashed early. What I can't believe, though, is that book 5 is getting close to done. I'm hammering away at the final scenes, and it's a scary feeling. I know I've talked about this before, how most of my planning from the very beginning didn't go further than the fight with Nuos, but with book 6, I've actually kind of been putting off thinking about it lol. It'll be going into some weird territory. I'm still very unsure of what the final climax is going to look like, though I have vague impressions I'm working from, lines that need to be said, scenes and gestures that need to be made.
And then just like that, Aquapunk will be done.
Still trying to mentally prepare myself for that one. This thing has been a steady constant in my life for 15 years. It's taught me a lot. More than college did. More than any job I've had. It's an unquantifiable experience - not even the final page count will be accurate, not with how many times I've redrawn pages. And remember when I was drawing this in pencil on computer paper??
Anyways. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. I already have other projects I'm looking forward to working on after this, when I have more of that mysterious thing some folks call "time". One of those things might be more Transformers fancomics. Shaun and I are seriously thinking about putting our heads together to collaborate on a "third-party Trasformers ongoing". If you can have third-party toys, why not a third-party comic universe? For free, of course, or supported by donations. Idk, I'm still spitballing here, and definitely don't want to get ahead of myself.
As always, thanks for reading, everyone! Couldn't have gotten this far without you.
