Sorry, got called into work on the days that I'd planned on working on this last week :U
So I'm making my way through Aztec Philosophy: Understanding a World in Motion and oof is it over-argued. Western takes on non-Western philosophical traditions strike me as weird in general - a lot of writing on the ancient Mexica is pretty cringe, but this is so apologist that it swings too far in the other direction! It basically tries to argue that these people were so intellectual and advanced that they were actually some kind of monotheist. (Grossly simplifying, but you get the jist.)
