Here's a tracker for completed pages of Book 6!

And I've also made a Discord server (because that's where I spend most of my time already, oof). It'll be for smaller updates for both comics, random art I might draw, etc: https://discord.gg/xTUyRHAHWC

Still working away at the script - I have to change a few things around, mostly to cut back on the time and effort it's going to take to draw a number of complex scenes. I just don't have the time that I used to, and the idea of spending 6 hours on a page has... well, lost its luster, especially if - let's be honest - this isn't making me any money. If I'm to finish this comic before I hit middle age then I need to accept that I have less free time than I did in my early 20s!

I'm also going to tell yall a bit more about the next project:

The Titan masthead in big, bold, blocky letters. In the last letter there's a drawing of a skull with a lizard perched on top, and spent shell casings scattered around the ground

This thing is going to be completely different in almost every way, which is really exciting. Here's the blurb:

11 years after WW3 ripped the world apart, Ansel Dune is an ex-cyborg supersoldier turned gun-for-hire just trying to get by in California's Mojave Desert when Ren asks him to help her find her mother. Ansel turns down the labor-intensive job, but the problem is that he's a trans man living in deep stealth - and when his last bottle of testosterone breaks, he discovers the supply chain has dried up. Forced to hunt down the people responsible, he agrees to take his new client along for the ride, but their paths look like they might be converging on the same place after all. Meanwhile, Ren seems determined to see past the veteran's rough exterior, but can she accept the reality of his military - and medical - history?

I'll be honest, it's kind of the opposite of Aquapunk: it's a fast-paced, post-apocalyptic pulp western romance. It's still me, though, so there's still a heaping dose of politics and dark humor, but what I'm really excited about is to give back to the community and contribute to the breadth of trans men's representation: Ansel is a hero for the guys like me out there.

The script is finished, but I'm still deep into the concept stage right now. Expect this sometime next year, I think.
